Running for or from??

I see myself. Im running fast on a pitch.
I've forgetten my problems, my mother the bitch.
I see the people telling me to stop
But i just carry on, and on and on, I never stop.
I keep to the lines, but for some reason never turn.
I look into the sun deliberatly so that my eyes burn.
But even though im looking I dont want to be blind
But no matter what I keep running, they're behind
Their meaningless chatter spurs me on, to the everlasting end.
Running behind me are all my "friends".
They are running after me, for the sake of sympathy
They ache and they complain cos they dont have the drive.
It looks as though i have so much anger inside
And all i do is run.
And when i awake from this seeming dream
I wonder why I run like a beam
Of light. Always in one direction, until i find a reflection.
And when i come accross the reflection its often when I wake.
I wonder why i started running for fuck sake.
I have everything to live for, so much, so deep
So much so that i begin to weep,
I realise. I'm not running away from anything
I'm running towards my goal, something.
And until I obtain, that most profain goal.
I'll continue and then begin to slow.
Cos then I'll have lost direction and wont know where to go.

That is the structure of the poem, just cos you have structure doesnt mean its the smae through out, structure shapes meaning.
