Behind Red Roses

Release your sacred heart
Let go your unforgotten
His love was from the start
These soft words he says
Are as gentle as the hymns
That seeps into your soul
For life is what he begins
He's as gentle as the winds
That motion threw the air
Kindness is what he sought
For you it's only fair
Unto thee were you lost
But find you he did there
In that land of make believe
With heart he pulled you out of there
You no longer walk a lonely path
For there he has helped you
Unto you, your soul was lost
Unto the world, gone with a cost
But held your hand he did
And never thought to let go
For he fought away all your demands
Such a death bringer, the black crow
Death no longer lingers near you
For he's there to protect
Fighting away all your demands
For fear he no longer detects
He smiles so very gently
As he kisses your cheek
Love fills your soul
For that's what you did seek
He is the one for you
And that's you begin to see
You'll love love him past death
For you carved it in the tree
I love you dearly
My sweet dear friend
You say each day
For him you depend
Life is worth living
With him by your side
Life is more then what you thought
For now you tried
Keep him close
Keep him close to your heart
His love is the deepest
And plays a big part |
