Empty Eyes

Have you ever stared into someones eyes and wished you could stay there for eternity? You learn so much about their soul, their emotions and their identity. But then I stop to think that maybe I'm ugly because I am empty. Drown in the pool of my pupils and let it cover your visions, forget all your secrets and twisted perceptions. If I'm still ugly then I'll let it go and leave it be, take one look at my eyes and see if they're empty." "Your eyes mean nothing and they didn't pull me in, guess you just proved me right unless you're a hypocrite. Theres nothing there to prove I could ever love you, they send shivers down my spine, the coldest blue. Guess you're nothing at all, I don't want a window to your soul. It'd be like watching a broken movie, playing over again with you staring straight through me." "Oh fuck...I'm ugly." |
