He Tried To Drown Me

He told me to meet him so we could talk,
I thought my relationship had a standing chance to last,
So along to the abandoned woods I walked.
He was there, sure enough with his friends,
I spoke up a bit obviously something going on I was missing,
Our relationship was too weak yet too young to end,
I had to yell to him so my friend he would stop kissing.
I tried to get away from my hurt seeing him with her,
I tripped and fell but I tried a quick escape,
All I could see was the blinding tears blur,
After tripping in emotion I fell into the cold lake.
I looked up shivering in the water and burst above tide,
My friend he was making out with left for a slumber,
It was wet and the water didn't make a difference to the tears I had cried,
He ran quick to me and pushed me under.
I couldn't hold my breath my lungs were blue,
Were they going to burst or was he going to stop,
Did he not want me to see the things he loved to do,
Like kiss my friends and cause pain a lot.
Finally he left me floating in those vast waters,
I was shivering, trembling, terribly cold,
At least he didn't go for a murderous slaughter,
My heart was broken, flimsy, and old.
The last I remember was awakening on a pile of damp leaves,
The gravel and soil beneath me was all I could see,
I looked up even though I was in the woods there was no trees,
I remembered now, he tried to drown me. |

Me n my boyfriend in real life were fighting then he wanted me to meet him later at the back of the woods which we call The Abandoned Woods cause no one goes back there but it's really cool and it has a pond/lake and everything. I got there and he was making out with my friend Gwendylin.
