» Poem: To My Life, My Love
To My Life, My Love
written by xxxvampire_loverxxx
05:10 AM 12/19/04
That look that you get
When you know you've done something wrong
How your eyes widen, and your eyebrows raise
It's so cute

You always look so stunned
Like, inside, you're showing embarrassment
You wish you could fix it
And you suddenly fall silent, completely quiet, your words on mute

To me, you're the world
You're my God, my love
My one and only
My forever someone

Nothing can take you away from me
Nothing at all
Not hate, forgiveness or life
Nothing and no one

I'm willing to give up everything for you
Anything in the world
I'd give my life
Just so that you could remain alive, remain here

As long as you're willing to love me
From today until the end of time
You're my one, my only, my love
If I could, I'd take away all of your pain and fears

But I can't
And that breaks my heart
If I could take away all of your suffering, I would

I'd spend the rest of my life with you
And take all your pain
Take everything that's wrong, take it all away
Oh, if only I could

This is to you my love
