» Poem: Until Then
Until Then
written by Morbid Angel

I'll spend my life trying to get you to notice me, one look in my eyes, one single heart beat. I'm less then one breath away from going insane, we're not all that different so why so far away? It's like I'm chasing my own tail, getting me nowhere and the only outcome is a fail. I'll spend my life trying to hold my head high, close my heart from your view to block all the secrets that I hide. You'll never know just how much one word can mean, how much it can break you when you only hear it in a dream. One day you will love me and everything will be fine, until then I'll hold it in for another time. Until then I'll suffer in my own silence with the thought of "maybe", if I would just say something you could be with me. But I could loose the frayed thread that I hang onto, that one ounce of friendship I work so hard to hold onto. Until forever I'll wait.
