» Poem: Unwind
Unwind
written by Morbid Angel

Spill your heart out to me but leave out the
blood and guts, for once just tell your secrets or your very
deepest thoughts. Why must you insist, that I have to slit
my wrist, this time it's just words and it's never been
better. Write me a poem, a story, a love letter. Open your
heart to my hand and I'll feel you beating, with a smile on
my face and from nowhere bleeding. Theres a beauty in your
soul just waiting to escape, the longer you trap it up then
the more it looses faith. You hold the key to my ever
crying heart, if my life is a play then you've got the main
part. You just don't know it yet, tired of words that only
spell death. And I'm tired of breaths that only kill me
more, tired of talking through my wrists and banging into
locked doors. Just unwind your soul and untie your tongue
from it's nots, it happened once before and I never
forgot.

Well, I must say your poem fills my senses with such a serene calm....even with the point of this poem. I love every word of it....Every word.

I'm surprised. You didn't seem to have that same opinion of me last week, infact the total opposite. Or, you might just be being sarcastic 'cause this poem sucks ass.
