make it worse

You love me you say.
You left me today.
You're never here when I need you to be.
You never bother with the little things.
What did I do, please let me know.
Cause you were here then left me all alone.
I thought I could rely on you, but that was too good to be true.
I just want you to know that the first person to hurt me wasent you.
I just thought maybe you'd be the first to care.
But I guess I was wrong you were never there.
I always thoight my life sucked, I always though I was cursed.
But recently I found out people like you make it worse.

Love never seems to work out, but you don't realise it until it all falls apart. Then you see the lousy foundations, the cracks that are small enough to be invisible, but big enough to rip your heart apart. Little things are important, aren't they? Little things add up to create much more than a big thing. It works that way with sadness and happiness. It sucks. I love the whole poem, but the last 4 lines are very strong and are obviously hearfelt. Well done.
