Place In Your Mind
written by Morbid Angel06:52 PM 12/21/04| It's as if theres so much love inside his heart but nobody to take it, he sees something in me but he fears he is mistaken. Theres an education in his soul and he uses his words wisely, I sometimes look upon him to guide me. Theres something different in him and something special worth loving, something worth needing, something worth saving. He just doesn't see it yet because he needs someone to tell him, maybe someone to hold him? It's the impression I get when I sit for hours and talk to him, about anything and everything, share my world with him. Nothing needs to change and the world is not around me, but it blinds him into darkness and I fear he'll never see me. I ask far too many questions and I can tell he knows, he has the answers but he tries not to let them show. Why don't you love me? Why do you like me? Why won't you answer me? Why won't you need me. I haven't known you long but It's like I've known you for a lifetime, spent so long trying to get into your mind. And trying to figure out your place in mine. |
