» Poem: Almost An Angel
Almost An Angel
written by Morbid Angel
09:26 PM 12/21/04
Could be an angel but always ends up on the wrong side,
The postive and the negative, lost somewhere in my mind,
He leaves me wondering so many times as to what is how and why,
Slowly waited for an answer as I let go of time.

Whats the point in handing my soul out on a plate,
Theres everybody to give, yet nobody to take.
And yet I hand it you and you abuse my trust,
I blame it all on longing for, a broken twisted lust.

If I had one million days it would account for nothing more then now,
You already know my secrets but it leaves me wondering how.
When did I let you in so deep into myself where nobody else goes,
I have so many questions but I guess I'll never know.
