Orchids
written by The grey raven10:15 PM 12/21/04I don't know where I'm going
The darkness hides the path
The moonlight relects in my panic stricken eyes
With a fear of the aftermath
The weight that I am pulling
Slows me down and makes me panic more
I can't believe what I have done
And I cry until my eyes are sore
At last I find a perfect spot
And I pull out the spade
I look down at your bloody face
At the mess of you I've made
I dig a hole in the soft ground
Big enough to hold my loved one
In this little spot I've found
The moonlight shines on your cold dead face
That will haunt me for all my life
Your death come prematurely
With the aid of my butchers knife
Once your placed in your permanent home
I place the soil back over my lover
I will miss you my dear love
I will never find another
One the hole is filled back up
I place upon your grave
An orchid white as the virgin snow
And the stars that shine in space |
