Darkest Part of You

The darkest thought you have
I'm your deepest desire
That makes you so sad
I am not pain
I am not hate
I am not Hell
For it's not your fate
I make you do things you wouldn't
Things you wish you didn't do
Things that people hate
Things that make people hate you to
I'm the darkest part of your soul
For that's where I hide
To make you forget youself
For that's where I side
I make you commit crimes
I make you think twice on the past
Things you wish you hadn't
That make the memories last
I live within all of you
And make you who you are
I affect some people
And some, more by far
Have you guessed what I am?
Have you guessed what I do?
I make you more vunrable
