My Bleeding Heart
written by psycho_bunny09:09 PM 6/20/04Try as I might the feeling of the night captures my bleeding heart and carrys it away,
to a place I like to stay,
far from the people that crowd my crowded mind.
The howl of the silent moon surounds me like a raged tyfoon and my solemn ways of solitude leave me with a sweep of angry wind.
My heart begins to flutter and my eyes begin to dart as I feel a wave of understanding about this hungry world we live in, but as soon as I begin to comprahend the thought leaves me in a flash of wings and flys away to a place where things seem to make more sence.
Crying only makes me angry and anger only makes me want to cry... what shall I do? as I slowly become lost among my fellow human beings as another lost and hopeless soul.
But when I look up at the brilliant stars all my doubts just leave me knowing that there are other things perhaps just as alone as me. I hope with all my heart that someday a thought will strike me down and understanding will dawn upon my troubled soul so that I know there is hope that someday I will know and understand it all. |
