I thought it was Love

I couldn't picture myself a day without you;
It's hard to believe because we were together so long, why was it that you had to go wrong?
Im laying here thinking about you and the past, and wondering how we could have made it last,
We'd been through both good things and bad, then we lost everything we had.
It was true, I loved you, it wasn't a fact that I didnt want you back,
Cause I did and I do, and I wish that you knew,
Now lately in my dreams all I see is you;
Some will forgive, and some will go on,
As for me i've just been strong.
Your friends still tell me it's my fault were through,
And that I shouldn't have broken up with you,
So I asked them what I was supose to do, and their response was to trust and believe you.
You asked me again I hesitated and then, said that we would be better off as friends,
You told everybody " Oh well at least I tried" ,then late that night I cried and I cried
I followed my head instead of my heart,
Now we have grown even farther apart.
Still remembering from the time our hands touched to the time our lips met,
Knowing that you I would never forget.
I used to try not to think or even picture the time,
When the day would come, that you would no longer be mine.
She was my friend, she had helped me get you,
She's also the one who broke us in two;
You won't even listen to what I have to say,
It's crazy how we were over in just one day;
I dont understand, and you can't explain,
Its as if those 7 months just went down the drain;
I can still remember the way you held me at night, and the way you said you loved me at night,
I miss everything about you, your lips, your face, your smile, I even miss your kissing style.
Its been so long since we last talked, I wish that time would pause or stop;
Right now i'd do anything just to hear your voice, but I guess thats really not my choice.
You told me you love me, then I said it too too, and we wouldnt have said it if it wasnt true.
As im sitting here I think back and remember when eveyone said"ya'll are gonna be together forever".
I need to move on, and find someone new, but its not thst easy when all I can think of is you, just wondering and hoping your feeling this way too.
My feelings for you have not gone away, I guess thats what I really want to say!!! |

| OMG!!...This poem is really, really, really, great......in fact, all your poems are really great......you are a really great poet! I REALLY enjoy reading your poems, and when i first saw how long this poem was, i didn't even wanna read it but as i got further and further into your poem, i just kept on reading it 'cuz it was really good, and before i knew it i was already done and wanting to read more. |

| WOW..... im lost for werds i relate to this sooo much my boyfriend juss broke up with me about 3 days ago it was super hard btu its getting easier everyday he didint want anything to do with me anymore and it was long distance too so it was harder btu i loved the poem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
