River Pt II
written by Morbid Angel

I can't sit and watch you make your own mistakes all over again, such a hypocrite but I'm not one to complain. She keeps making you cry but you won't let me offer you a shoulder, I don't expect you to be strong or act like a solider. Remember when we just sat there for ours no matter how cold? Talking about anything and everything deep within each others arms. So many memories lie within that week that won't repeat, I remember the tree's rustling and the water hitting our feet. I don't know why but afterwards I cried, I was only left with memories with every tear I cried. I just wanted to relive it but I could only do so in my head, but memories fall apart so I'll try to dream instead. So you left me with no idea of anything you felt, I had to try and interperet your kiss all by myself. Was it our of guilt or fear of me crying? Do you really think I'm pretty or were you just lieing? You left me without a clue, just a memory of a river, me and you. Then a few months later you're at my door, to confuse my head once again and torment me more. Just after I forgot you creeped back inside my thoughts, crying once again and we became us. Memories of our river and everything we said, it all remains locked up until the next time you're lieing crying on my bed.
