» Poem: Hall Of Mirrors
Hall Of Mirrors
written by Morbid Angel

Forget you had a choice. Infact, forget you ever made one at all. You've never seen my face. You've never heard my voice. Yet in my mind you stand ten feet tall. And I get even weaker at every single thought. It's like you enjoy it. The fact that I'm not able to understand. It's like you know it. I'll try so hard to take your heart by the hand. I won't let you in my head, you're never getting close again. I'm tired of being attacked by all four corners of this room, and it's always you in every direction I turn. It's like a hall of mirrors reflecting your face. Reflecting my clock and showing my pain. Tick tock tick tock. Counting down the death wish clock. Tick tock tick tock. Once it's gone the moments gone. Forever gone. Tick tock. Broken empty, face in shock. Tick tock...Feel like crying, don't know why. You're not all that important. Just another person in my life. Tick tock...tick.
