» Poem: Nothing To Be Felt
Nothing To Be Felt
written by lost_and_forgotten

You put your arms around me
As if to give a hug
But there is nothing to be felt
I brush it off with a shrug

You put you hands on my waist
As if to be romantic
But there is nothing to be felt
I think I'm starting to panic

You press you lips against my own
As if to give a kiss
But there is nothing to be felt
The is no more feeling of bliss

It seems as though you have run dry
And have no emotion for me
I can tell more every time
You touch or try to hold me

Goodbyes are the worst with out your passion
As your arms hang limply aside
Maybe I'll just give it some time though
And see if my feelings will bide
