» Poem: Demons Have Wings
Demons Have Wings
written by lost_and_forgotten

He fell from the sky, this lovely creature
And instantly I fell in love
I though he was the man of my dreams
Sent to me from Heaven above

He stood up from the ground where he had fallen
And said "Hello, how do you do?"
I looked in his eyes and saw them aglow
He spoke: My friends call me Andrew

Andrew, oh boy, what a glorious name
To him I entrusted my heart
As we came closer he would persue
To rip my fears apart

When I would cry he'd come to me
And offer a single red rose
For red is the color of love and lust
And fire as everyone knows

I hugged him hard with all my might
And felt such passionate feelings
But as my soft hands grazed his back
I discovered his secretive wings

"My God," I yelled as i stumbled in fright
And worried of what might be next
He swiftly approached me and grabbed me tight
And recited a sacred text

His words were in Latin, a jumble to me
Soon off the floor we hovered
He stroked my hair and kissed my neck
Then my virgin body he uncovered

I kicked and screamed and tried to flee
But his spell was just too strong
He held me fast against his chest
As his hands did something wrong

It was then that I lost all control
I broke down and started to cry
How could someone who seemed so great
Belong where demons fly?

He saw me weeping and collapsed to the floor
He never wanted to hurt me
But he is a demon from another world
I know he won't set me free

Forever I'm trapped in this prison of his
Bound by a sacred spell
Forever I live in this home of his
This place we all call Hell
