The Lost Girl

Shes so young...thinks she knows so much.
She turns away from every helping hands touch.
She plays by her own rules.
And thinks everyone else is a fool.

She has no idea about this thing called life.
Trials, tribulations, and strife.
Yet she has so mich courage...always on nerves edge.
No...she doesn't miss abeat. But she's so tired mentally, and yes physically.
She's a tough girl, tumbling through lifes swirl.
Trying to hold her own.
Bowing to her own trone.
Forcing those around her to also bow to her ground.
She's still lost though.
She has no idea where to go.
She's hurting while she's learning.
Some lessons so painful she loses control.
But she still stands confident, with steady hands.
Inside she's crying, slowly but surely dying.
Her soul that is.
She's ready to be found.
Place her feet on steady ground.
It's not fun anymore.
so much Baggage,
hanging on to her dignity and life like savage.
It's time now , she wants to throw in her towel.
It's like drug she sometimes thinks.
Missing peices, missing links.
What happened to this girl?
This bright eyed young black queen?
What went wrong in between?
Something that wasn't seen.
It crept inside, through her veins, and into her mind.
It's apart of her now.
Installed in her as a child.
She's lost, but she knows she'll find her way back.
Pioneer in her blood.
Both warm and cold.
She's a soldier to those that really know her.
They watch and say " She'll be back!"
"Sharp!, and quick!"
just like that they snap.
Just make sure if you see her she is lost.
Try to help,she'll appreciate it.
if you Just intiate it.
She needs help through all the turmoil.....
This lost girl....
