» Poem: The sad look
The sad look

The rain drops pour on top of our heads.
Wahsing away all the fear and all the dread.
I've been waiting for this moment for all of my life,
wishing to be with you, for you to make me come alive.
The puddles splash all over us, as all we can do is laugh.
This feeling of being with my one and only, I hope that it will last.
As we walk down the street together, not a care at all.
I notice that with you I no longer feel so small.
I wanna scream at the top of my lungs how much I love you.
Then we lean in closer and I can feel my body touching you.
Right about before our lips touch and fate finally takes place.
A light shines down and wakes everything up, and I notice the sad look on your face.
