Life as we know it draws us into a darkness
Making things different and shadowed with pain
Living a life of sorrow and sadness
Waiting for the candle to blow out again

There were times when the world frowned upon us
Now those times are long gone
When the day breaks and dusk encompasses us
Remember where we belong

Together for a life of horror and happiness
We can learn the ways of the dead
When we retreat to a place that severs all liveliness
Remember where we were led

I was tryng to work it into one of the many stories I was writing...but alas it did not work...so I stuck it all together and that is how it ended up
