dancing in the rain

and dances in the rain,
no one is there,
for everyone is afraid,
afraid to live,
afraid to change.
but still she dances
and catches raindrops
like tears in her eyes.
haunted by memories
that will never
completely go away,
she thinks back
and remembers a time
when she had
someone to dance
with her in the rain,
and now she wishes
that someone was
here with her now.
she still dances
underneath a cloudy sky,
all alone,
yet not quite forgotten |
