Trick Of The Mind
written by Morbid Angel02:52 AM 1/2/05| I think we make it up in our minds, to convince ourselves we're not alone. To keep us safe in our own knowledge of someone which whom we can grow old. And if we stay with them, they will always be the one. Until someone else comes along. And then it's just gone. Because we follow our hearts to lead us through thick and thin, whichever direction they take us in. And we rely on them to be our guides, until we die. Because it's all we have to keep our minds at rest. Our hearts know better then we do, hearts always know best. Follow the leader, to the love of your life, follow the reaper, blinded by light... |
