nothing matters anymore,
these words,
black on white paper,
stare up at me
like empty souls.
they have no impact,
no meaning at all.
they just are,
and that's all
they ever will be.
you can say its more,
but it will never be,
for these words
can make you cry,
they can make you angry,
they can even make you happy,
but they will never
make you feel.
these empty words,
my empty soul,
mean nothing,
nothing at all
