» Poem: Send the Message
Send the Message
written by blackened_rose
01:16 AM 1/4/05
Send the message to the unborn child
Life is just something strange and wild
It's an endless and continueing puzzle
That leaves so many in awe and wonder

No real reason to come into it
Fears only consume you bit by bit
Life is a dangerous thing
And you can't fly away from it on wings

Send away that price less gift
The thing known as love
Keep your heart under lock and key
Don't let anyone in, for they never believe

There's a piece that's gold and broken
Nothing can decribe words that are spoken
Everyone only points there fingers
And hate is what only lingers

In the depths of your soul something lives
Don't let it out, don't let it in
It's the greatest enemy in every person
The only thing that's called sin

Send away that price less gift
The thing known as love
Keep your heart under lock and key
Don't let anyone in, for they never believe

That's what drags down everyone
The weight on your shoulders weigh a ton
You can't believe in no one, for they're the enemy
They only hurt you, and make it so you can't see

Only sarrow is what you'll ever have
Depression, you swim in like a bath
Nothing you say or do
Will take away these feeling to

Send away that price less gift
The thing known as love
Keep your heart under lock and key
Don't let anyone in, for they never believe

They hurt you still, and I told you once
You can only go on one side of the fence
One feeling not on the list to be
One, that no one ever sees

In these times of hate and sarrow
Don't let anyone your heart barrow
Keep close to your way of thought
Money, life isn't bought

Send away that price less gift
The thing known as love
Keep your heart under lock and key
Don't let anyone in, for they never beilieve
