thank you for being here

the crazier i am,
is this real?
is this the way
that i'm supposed to be?
i don't want you
to worry about me,
i'll just mask my pain,
and try to be so happy.
i'm sorry if i
make you sad,
for this is the way i am.
i wish that i could
smile with you,
and make you
feel like you're needed.
i need someone
to cry with,
someone to understand me
as no one else can.
pleases hear my
pleading heart,
and realize
just how much i need you.
and i thank you
for being here for me,
when i need you here so much. |
