I-pod
written by sarah10087

Walking down a road, a measley road
Filled with dirt and leaves that errode
But with the sound in my ears i can take hold
I escape to an imaginary make-up world
Where the sound of people around fade
Where the only noise is what my i pod made
I dream of being what i long to be
A symbol, a sign, an effigy.

The to the next where i have nothing
But a special friend, thats something.
I could play a guitar til I'm content
Could fly away to the next continent
Can cry at those who are the cause
Of my continual searching for others flaws
They stand and take note, i see their pain
what they put my through was in vein

But then I'm back on the road, to school
Where those fake plastic idiots rule
Where those fake plastic idioys succeed
Where people discriminate against by beleif

And all it took was my ipod

Haha a poem about I-Pods. Poetry comes from the heart. Stupid.
