» Poem: Sunset For Cruelty.
Sunset For Cruelty.
written by maledeth
03:06 AM 1/5/05
These shallow hands, caress my hold.
These light-starved eyes won't realize.
Attentive as a bird to prey, in stark converge.
The truth can't be to live with hate,
no, it must be me.

These lies address me, chaotic voice in silhouette.
As they suggest remembrance of all that is left.
My garnet blue hands and the uncertainty I see.
Never again whilst I breathe.
Nevermore while I sleep.

I rush to see my life on fire.
Reminiscent of a beautiful sunset.
My strength decays as my eyes had tired.
Lay me down to worship the light in death.
