» Poem: Once had....
Once had....
written by Open_Until_4Am

Kill who I am.
Give back who I used to be.
See the world from the dark side.
Here no one around me.
I'm scared of being the next to disappear.
Pretend that I can look for beauty in everything.
They promised they wouldn't just leave me.
I wonder if they see that they already left me here alone.
Oh how I wished there was a place to call home.
Daddy got his way again.
Mother are you ready to see the pain, yeah.
The pain that you let seep into my life you gave me.
I don't want any of this no more.
Take it back, give it away.
As long as I can say that I'm fine with what I have.
Looking to the world, I wonder what went wrong?
Try to make things better, going way to far.
I need to let go.
Yeah, let go of it all.
My brother said he'd never leave me.
But he's already gone.
Now I'm afraid of what is to come.
But all I get from them is nothing worthily to me.
So I’ll cry myself so sleep.
Read all these stupid songs.
Kill who I used to be.
Give back who I am.
See the world from the brighter side.
I once had they around me to care.
