» Poem: She'll Fly.
She'll Fly.
written by Morbid Angel

Why are you crying? The world still exists. Why are you bleeding for the people who don't give a shit? Your heaven can't fall, it was never there at all, but I'll still love you through your deepest hell. And everything you create will be everything they hate, but every sin you make will make my love that much stronger. Keep me holding on those few seconds longer. Just to look in your eyes, to feel like I can fly, the most torn apart wings and still I can sing...the voice of an angel and the eyes of a child, the tears I have tasted lie inside of my smile...the blood that flows through my veins, spills out of my mistakes, a cut for every second that I waste, for every minute that slips away, for that moment that I look into your eyes and see everything I need, the reason that I be, I see a reflection of me. The perfect person made of my own imagination, this is gods artwork and our place is composition, he meant for me to find you, he meant for me to love you, he meant for me to cure you. But this angel remains broken and frayed around the edge, my words are still unspoken and through my words you're fed...my emotion, my heart, my soul goes into this...but you let go, at that one last poison kiss. I'll always be reaching for the fingers through which I slip, waiting for the moment that your tongue slips through my lips, waiting to die and fall through the sky...waiting for everything, this broken angel will fly.
