This Is The End Of Me
written by Morbid Angel03:16 PM 1/8/05| Waiting for my ending to take my by the hand, I'll spend my life just waiting around, for my angels to fall and carry me away, I feel like it's the end of the world, I'm counting down the days. It feels like I should be doing something so I don't die as one, in the blink of an eye every chance you had is gone. Every second you stopped to think of what step to take next, you took too long to think, ran it through your head. What you didn't realise is that your path was already set, wasting those precious moments again and again. Keep looking up to the sky, wondering if I'll die, anytime soon, alone in my room. And with the end of the world I'll breathe a sigh of relief, this isn't the end of everything, it's just te end of me. Everything I've spent my life trying to create, is gone...the moment you look away. Keep looking at your clock, tick tock tick tock, you've got forever to waste, staring at your face, crying in the mirror, so much more to live for. You don't realise that when it's gone it's gone, I've made my own mistakes but I've learned to move on. I've realised it's not worth a second glance....I'm just letting my life slip through somebody elses hands. |
