Peace, Or Murder?

We try to find peace
But how is this accomplished
When your fighting none the least?
We say it's for a good cause
But how can it be so?
We're killing inoscent people
How can we sink so low?
We look to ourselves
To make a difference
Trying to end hate
In just an instant
But we make more enemies
When we fight and complain
We make more people hate
That we put threw all this pain
How can love be true
When we kill each other so?
How can hope be in sight
When all you see is crows?
One side thinks it's right
But so does the other
So how is fighting good
When using morals as a cover?
We bomb and shoot people
And kill there families
We destory there lives
And bring hate in stories
What are we fighting for
When we just do it again?
How are we living
When we just create sin?
Does war really make peace,
Or does it bring more hate?
Do we make a friend,
Or lose one for our sake?
We use peace as a reason
But it's just all fear and hate
We've got our backs covered
By using peace for our sake
The people still think the same
And still hate us so
They think we've nothing to live for
And wont just take our blow
How do we love all around us
If we kill them in every way?
How can we say diversity
If for it, we kill them every day?
So tell me, does love excist?
For we kill people different from us
How can we say freedom
If in no one, we don't trust?
Does fighting get us any where,
Or does it make a deeper whole?
Does hope really save you,
Or does it sell your very soul? |

NO THIS IS NOT ABOUT THE WAR IN IRAQ. This is just things I'm wondering. I don't why we fight to try and get peace when we're just using force, so I put my thoughts to words, and made a poem. This is about all wars, and not really focusing on the one in Iraq. K!
