please understand (plz read)

does it ever sink in?
do you understand
that without you,
i would be in peices?
i hope that you
aren't mad at me,
because i couldn't
just stand by
and watch as you
slowly died away.
i'm sorry.
does it matter
that everyone loves you?
do you even care?
when you don't respond,
i have to wonder,
are you even listening?
i'm sorry to doubt you
but i love you
and i don't
want anything to ever
happen to you.
i hope that you don't
shut me out now,
and feel like you
can't trust me,
because i will always be here,
and you can
always trust me.
please try to understand
that we are scared for you,
and i don't want to lose you. |
