» Poem: Poison Ivy
Poison Ivy
written by lost_and_forgotten
11:21 PM 1/22/05
Your soul of poison ivy
Wraps around my heart
Holding my free spirit fast
Onto you from the start

You soul of poison ivy
Entwines around my mind
My thoughts of you still linger
When all is left behind

You soul of poison ivy
Encroaches on my lips
Only to softly kill me
With your poison ivy sips

Your soul of poison ivy
Has me in its grasp
The more I try to get away
The stronger grows it's clasp

Your soul of poison ivy
Will hold me til I die
And there is nothing I can do
So forgive me if i cry
