Reuben
written by Mars_Phoenix03:01 PM 1/23/05Tracks like cho cho city;
Train man my best friend
I demand you take me home,
A place where i'll be left alone.
Reuben he's fallen under again,
A Blanket of disbelief;
Inside shadows we'll find relief.
Pick up the stick before it drops,
Fumble as it slips and I tumble,
Down the same old road i've come to know.
Sad eyes; sad eyes; sad eyes;
This fretboards all scarred and worn,
If I could play I would,
Your my left hand and im your right,
Hold on hold on hold on tight.
Headlining now your lifes in my hands;
But choose to write you in this little voice,
Sunken eyes under lights that wipe away restraint,
The sound of the second verse fails to amuse
Your the only thing I ever did right.
