Fade to Black
written by SuperBob06:45 AM 7/3/04Stake a claim to my misfortune
Bask in the endless glory of my reign
King of the disemboweled and forsaken
Queen of the lonely, dead, and the shamed
Dancing for the freedom of this blackness
Making the symbols for these mourned
Harsh were the words of the lowly and meaningless
Bleeding were the lives of the forlorn and unborn
Decapitated the unwilling damned skies
Showed the darkness how to rebuild and forget
Incarcerated for the sorrow and for the lies
The wise words of the never before met
Learning how to build a new time-line
Forcing the winds to raise a blashpemous fire
The crows of the fields avoided the mines
The lacerations never failed their sire
Tortured for every under achievement
Left alone for the death of monogamy's sake
Never forgiven for any bereavement
Tied to a burned and unyielding stake

Well your title is a rip-off. The work is good...judging by your footnote, I have doubts of whether you wrote it or not. But, that's simply my opinion. Great work. |
