» Poem: Dearest Truth
Dearest Truth
written by SuperBob
04:40 AM 7/4/04
I tired my best
And now I hope you can rest
Your heavy heart of purest gold
For soon in your arms your true love you will hold

It might seem like this is all false hope
But it will prevent you from playing Death with that rope
Promise you will keep alive your pressence
For I wouldn't know what do without your essence

Near to me is where I hold you, Dear
For You alone banish all my dreams of fear
To hold your hand is all that I'll ever want
But these times of the past will forever taunt

You understand my meanings of life
And one day you claim that I will make your wife
Breaking your heart is what I wish never to do
So I sit here and ponder ways to be with you
