» Poem: Secretly Screaming
Secretly Screaming
written by Morbid Angel

Let go of me,
It'll be so much easier to watch you drift away.
I can't complain,
If you're not mine.

Don't tell anybody,
When you hear me breathe at night.
Talking in my sleep,
Don't tell them what I said.

This is torture,
So beat me down to the ground.
You won't hear me scream,
With a smile on my face.

Can you keep a secret?
My heart has been stretched to it's limits.
Slowly breaking maybe.
I just don't know it yet.

I do love you so.
But to watch you fall away from me...
I can't take it anymore,
Just let me go.
