» Poem: The Envies of Hands
The Envies of Hands
written by Orelinde
09:29 PM 1/25/05
A silk pillow case
demonstrates what
hands can craft -
what eyes stint.

Iridescent thread
lead by a spike
twist and weave
themselves into
dragonflies.

Knot, cut, tag.
A price is paid
for the makings
of hands.
