» Poem: Pompeii
Pompeii
written by Genocide Reaper
07:35 AM 1/26/05
The light dissipated, the people awaited, as the day faded, darkness came, smoke and fire filled the air, as the ashes rained, they suddenly became paralyzed by fear. Seconds seemed like hours, hours passed with firey showers, burying the city of lust and greed, like the dead within a grave. Soon the city became a giant tomb. Whores and gamblers suffocate, merchants and slaves crushed, fools and soldiers burned, their stubbornness became their demise, their dedication to deceit, brought the burning night. When the smoke cleared, and the day finally came, the city of Pompeii was left dead, the residents and Royalty now would never again see, the light of day.

If you don't know what Pomeii is, it was a city, and a volcano errupted and killed everyone in the city.
