» Poem: Snide Smiles
Snide Smiles
written by Orelinde
06:26 AM 1/27/05
Snide smiles;
crude thoughts
"I like everyone,
but you."

"Thanks," simple
minds don't contemplate
the point of caring.

Like Harry's world
only worse -
at least he had real
fantasy.

Urged that "it's
okay" to feel
the things we're
forced to feel.

Always left -
wanting more.
Let them eat
their cake.
