Deranged Decisions Arise
written by Orelinde06:30 AM 1/27/05It was decided, that I shall
walk away right now, with
naught in my pocket but
a smidge of change and
candy cane wrapper.
I'd prefer to be stuffed
into a large box and
wrapped in sparkling blue
paper, but walking is just
as fine, and good for the body.
I shall send myself away
with a gift card attached,
"Hello, let me live upon
your welcoming door-step."
Or give a penny for my thoughts.
Seeing the world; traveling
by secret paths through
old back woods and across
grey-scaled oceans. I will
seek out the ones touched,
by simple text. |

I wanted to walk away. As opposed to running. Running is too strenuous and I don't think I would get very far if I ran out of breath early on. Walking is easy, I could walk for a very long time (then again most could). [ View Orelinde's Profile ] [ Go to the Poetry Portal ] This Poem has been viewed 99 times
