((**What a Sucker**))

Knowing nothing, yes nothing is ever going to happen.
Waiting nite and day, for the words you'll say.
Willing to give all away just to look down the barrel and find you in front of me.
There's no way that I'm gonna make it through my days without you.
Malevolent words from only one friend.
Wrong timing to be planning on some way to bring me under.
I once knew who you were.
I once thought that maybe you were more worthy then me.
I once saw nothing, and I acted like it was great to me.
When was I going to awaken from this phantasm?
Your all the evil things I promised myself I would never let into.
Friendships oh yeah they last a life time.
Wrongs and Rights fade into the nite.
Wondering how you got yourself this far away from all that you once had.
You did this to yourself, again.
You had it all, and I watched from a distance as you fell to the abyss.
With a smile on my face, I tried to be more then I could be.
And without you I will see the days so clear.
When I'm fortunate, there's no way I'm letting you take that from me.
Such a sucker for the words that fall deep into the water.
Empty worlds, and I must say that it seems so much better.
I found love, with someone who makes me feel right.
But I lost a familiar person, and I know there's no way back again.
Come to see, how wrong she always was.
I couldn't listen to her bicker anymore. |
