Loaded gun
written by Genocide Reaper07:14 AM 1/28/05| I'm a loaded gun, locked in the asylum, surrounded by apathy filled anarchist, no one else can see, what I see in here. and no, its not fear. I don't hate to disappoint the finger pointers, I don't care if their feelings get hurt. I don't care what they think or say, they play with fire, therefore they get burnt. Reject the pills they try to feed me, spit in the face of the Dr's that won't let me be. Just, fight them through out the freezing night. Now their gone, here she comes. Dancing into my dreams, running the knifes edge over my stitched seems. I'm a healing wound, soon to be a scar, you can say that you are better off dead, I don't care if you are. I'm just a target for your pathetic blame. You never even knew my name. Here she comes again. She's a bullet hole in the wall, heated, fired, abused, used, dead lead, only extracted to be reloaded and hit with another hammer, and shot out of the barrel, back into the concrete wall, that is around my soul. She'll never get beyond my mind, because I don't want her to wander to long, in hopes my true self, she'll never find. She claims to love me without words, she tries to stay close to me, and I try to stay sober, but I find myself in the bottle of bourbon, playing games with the demons, playing off the empty reasons, dealing another hand of demonic poker. I'll bet it all, but not my soul. She's so unsure, of how I feel, yet she knows, but denial has her in a confusing hold. I'll bury my secrets in an unmarked grave, tell her to search in the ocean of apathy's eternal waves. |
