» Poem: Put Your Fist Through My Teeth
Put Your Fist Through My Teeth
written by Morbid Angel

Somebody must be watching me,
Feel like I've got a guardian angel.
I wonder if he's loving me,
Holding my guardian angel.

I know that somewhere he's needing me,
Flying to where I am.
I'm not sure how he's reading me,
The pages of my life are blank.

His wings are non-existant,
Theres a hole where his heart should be,
But none of that is important,
My guardian angel lives for me.

Feeding off my oxygen,
It gets so hard to me to breathe,
But I'm not afraid to die,
So keep sucking the air I need.

As long as you follow me,
Like I've followed you through life.
I don't want to be alone,
But I'm running out of time.

Put your fist right through my teethe,
You can't be perfect,
I don't mind if I bleed.
