» Poem: Fragments Of Soul
Fragments Of Soul
written by Mars_Phoenix
01:16 AM 1/31/05
These thoughts are killing me,
Screams that echo down the corridor of my soul,
Strength on Strength I have no will to rebuild,
These shattered dreams;
Like catching tears of glass in the rain,
I create what can only decay;
Fragments of a memory slips through these hands so small.
The aftermath brings a thousand tears,
Let them wash away the faces and drown out the cries,
Of growing up and knowing everything you dreamt was a lie,
I'm tired of sleeping soundly in a world that so confounds me
With riddles as sinister as the masters that bore them.
