Forgive the people

Your real true side and you true beauty
I know you dont think what you think
And see what I see
But dont change who youll always be
Forgive the people who dont understand
Forgive the ones who dont give a helping hand
Forgive them for not seeing the great person that you are
And not seeing that youll do great and that in spite of everything else, youll go far
Forgive the people who dont listen to you when you need it
Or when I knew you had potentail but no one else seen it
Forgive the people that makes you life a living hell
Forgive the people who stab you in the back, then wish you well
Forgive hypocrites those ones you see every day
Forgive the people who dont think about what they say
Forgive the people who cry, and cry but its nothign but fake
Forgive the people how have no problem and say theres nothing else they can take
Forgive the people who act like they care
When really theyll never be there
Forgive the people who lie staight to your face
Forgive them who make everything you do waste
Forgive the people who dont see the real you
The sweet, caring girl with what you say and what you do
They dont see it, you dont even realize
Cause everytime you look at yourself all you can do is cry
Its because they dont understand, Im the only one who stills sees
I might be the only one who still here and the only one who believes
You will get better because I know youre strong
Even though it doesnt seem like it Ive known it all along
You dont think of yourself this way, but if you can trust anyone is the world it me
And I know this poem isnt enough for you to see-
Youre a great friend, no matter what they say
And I thank God for you every single day
You have a a classic face and such a beautiful voice
You would be happy about things, but you dont seem to have a choice.
You try to be better not only for you, but for others
You try to have a good relationship with you friends, but most of all your mother
You try to hide the scars, but I see them in your eyes
You always listen when I have problems and you never tell me lies
Youre the shoulder that I lean on and go to when Im hurt
Please forgive the people, who just will never learn.
Youre the strongest person I know, and my hope will never end
Forgive the people who dont see
That youre a wonderful friend. |
