He Died in My Arms
written by lost_and_forgotten07:16 AM 2/1/05I held him tightly in my arms
And gave a tender kiss
And watched as he died in my arms.
His eyes glossed over
Like the surface of a pond
On a breezeless summer day,
His calm, sweet breaths
Trusting in me until
His final inhailation.
He died in my arms
Of a broken heart
And there was nothing that I could do.
