When I'm not with you

Taking no notice of my pain
I really need you by my side
To be my normal self again
No one can see inside my head
Where all my thoughts are kept
If only they could see those thoughts
And comforted me as I wept
And when you emerge from the crowds
My life suddenly looks up
You take my hand and take me away
From the people who don't give a fuck |
