I see the truth
written by GeishaGirl09:15 AM 2/3/05I'm a coward I couldn't say I love you, the thought of rejection seemed overwhelming I'd rather put a bullet through my head than to hear you say the word 'no' to me. I know you only noticed me as a friend I'm sorry I slapped you in the face more than once. I know you thought of me as a worthless whore, yes I can't stand myself for what I am, my antics aren’t going to change.
I loved you
And I wished you knew that
I wish you were here
And I wish you knew that
Now that you’re gone I can barely live through the long and tedious days. The sunny days still seem cloudy; I doubt I will ever see the sun shinning again. I'll live through the days knowing it's my fault that those simple words 'I love you' wouldn't and didn't come out of my cursed mouth. Shoving my head through a plaster wall seems alluring than to live another day with out you.
I want to hear your mellow voice again
I want to see your sweet baby face again
I want to hear your soft laugh again
I won't mind seeing your prerogative postures again
But I know your gone I'm not going to see you again. I'm going to have to live with the fact I'm a failure in love you made me see the truth, and I thank you for that. |
